La part de l\u2019industrie dans la consommation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique mondiale est de 32 %, dont la production de chaleur couvre 75 %. Les solutions du solaire thermique conviennent notamment bien \u00e0 la production de chaleur \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature (&lt;150 \u00b0C) qui couvre environ 30 % de toute la consommation de la chaleur par l\u2019industrie. Le moyen le plus rentable pour verdir la production de chaleur des villes est d\u2019augmenter l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 partout dans le monde. Dans la plupart des cas, le solaire thermique couvre environ 20 % de la demande de chaleur annuelle. En utilisant des stockages saisonniers, cette proportion peut \u00eatre augment\u00e9e \u00e0 60 % ou plus.
